With each "lesson" or topic given a page which can be linked to is located in the list to the left. What is Web 2.0 and why should I care? The first section contains links to a few videos that give an overview of a few aspects of Web 2.0, from the perspective of the student, the technology, and the teacher. In all, it will take 15-20 minutes to complete. Select the link to the left or go there from here. Where do I go to explore? You will be introduced to a few ways to collect the information that is out there. And even better, once you have a few things set up, the information will come to you! That's right. Sit back, relax, and gather. Interactive Class Website Gone are the days when the course website is just a place for students to get information, the syllabus, and assignments. Web 2.0 tools allow you to create a website that does all this plus adds the ability for students to interact, discuss, add notes, upload movies, collaborate, and much more. |
